Royal Senior Care Management LLC is Hiring a COOK Near Cooper, FL

 
 

Experienced cook needed for Luxury Senior Living Facility in Davie.
Drug test and background check will be required.
Compensation based on experience.

Summary:
Prepares and handles food items in accordance to the daily production schedule by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities include the following: (Note: Other duties may be assigned.)
1. Prepare food items according to daily production schedule utilizing standardized recipes.
2. Coordinate food handling, cooking schedule, and cooking method to assure meals are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
3. Estimate quantities of food required; order, inventory and rotate food supplies as directed.
4. Meet meal schedule.
5. Check for proper food temperature and maintain daily temperature log.
6. Properly store and label food items.
7. Maintain standards of sanitation and food handling based on County, State and Federal regulations.
8. Maintain a clean work area, and perform cleaning tasks as assigned.
9. Operate and care for equipment.
10. Apportion food items based on diet order and residents’ food preferences.
11. Prepare and present food items for special events.
12. Maintain refrigeration temperature logs.
13. Report needed repairs in work area.
14. Instruct cooks on proper food preparation, presentation, and safe food handling techniques.
15. Be available for duty during emergency situations.
16. Be available for a.m. and p.m. work shifts.
17. Attend required meetings.

Education and/or Experience:
Two years quantity cooking experience.

Language Skills:
Ability to follow oral and written instructions in the English language.

Mathematical Skills:
Knowledge of arithmetic and units of measurement used in food preparation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
